Payments Structures

Note: Payment includes 2 parts: Traffic bonus + Engagement bonus.

Traffic bonus

This is based on how many clicks one article gets.

For example:

Article with 1 click = ₦0.036

Article with 100 clicks = ₦3.6

Article with 1,000 clicks = ₦36

Article with 10,000 clicks = ₦360

Article with 25,000 clicks = ₦ 900

Since opera news hub is a big platform, it’s relatively easy to get more than 10,000 clicks.

Engagement bonus

Extra pay is based on engagements on Opera News platform: Shares.

Only articles with more than 100 engagements will be eligible for the engagement bonus.

For articles with more than 100 engagements, it will be paid ₦ 1800 per 100 engagement.

For example:

Article with 20 engagements = 0 engagement bonus

Article with 250 engagements = ₦ 4500 as engagement bonus

Once your total income reaches ₦2000, Opay payment would be processed by our payment team.
